House was built in 1893 by the Salisbury family and is conveniently
located within walking distance of downtown Flint and the University of
Michigan-Flint. We are one block from Flint's Cultural Center, which
includes Alfred P. Sloan Museum, Flint Institute of Arts and Music,
Flint Public Library, Whiting Auditorium, Bower Theater, Sarvis Center
and Longway Planetarium. Crossroads Village, Frankenmuth and the Prime
Outlets of Birch
Run are within short driving distances.
Avon House has three guest rooms decorated in Victorian antiques. Each room has a double bed,
phone and an air
conditioner. There is a sitting area with television and VCR available
on the second floor and the parlor features a turn-of-the-century
Steinway Grand for your pleasure. Two bathrooms are shared and if you
are our only guest we can provide a private bath. We offer off-street
parking.
